Premier CAA Approved flight training school serving Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, and Rutland from two distinct airfields.

Operating from our main office at Sibson Aerodrome and Peterborough Business Airport (Conington), Peterborough Flying School provides comprehensive flight instruction for aspiring pilots, from introductory trial flight vouchers to full CAA Private Pilot Licences (PPL), Night Ratings, and Instrument Ratings.
Both of our airfields offer unobstructed uncontrolled airspace outside busy commercial zones, allowing student pilots to maximise their actual flight time during every lesson without long taxi or hold delays. Whether you prefer traditional grass strips or modern tarmac, we have a base to suit your training needs.

Experiences to Careers
Flight Experiences: Unforgettable trial flights and gift vouchers for absolute beginners wanting to take the controls for the first time.
Hobbyist Flying: Training for aviation enthusiasts who want to earn their Private Pilot Licence (PPL) for weekend flying, touring, and pure enjoyment.
Commercial Pathways: A stepping stone for dedicated students building their initial hours and foundational skills before progressing to a commercial aviation career.
Nestled in the picturesque East of England, our historic base at Sibson Aerodrome offers the perfect backdrop for flight training. Flying out of Sibson means taking to the skies over the beautiful Cambridgeshire countryside and the rolling hills of Rutland.
The airfield itself is steeped in aviation character, featuring excellent grass runways. It provides an uncrowded, friendly community atmosphere far removed from the stress of large commercial airports, offering a true flying club environment.
Our newest expansion brings operations to Peterborough Business Airport (ICAO: EGSF), a privately owned airfield in Cambridgeshire, just 13km south of Peterborough. Rich in history, it was originally built as RAF Glatton in 1942, housing B-17 Flying Fortress bombers of the US 457th Bomb Group.
Today, Conington offers a 987-metre modern asphalt (tarmac) runway. This provides our students with a fantastic alternative to our grass runways, allowing for excellent year-round operations and invaluable experience on hard-surface runways.
